POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for overall leadership of retail banking activities within the defined market with the primary focus directed towards enhancing retail sales and service efforts. Act as the Financial Center Manager for a specified branch as well as oversees other branches within the market.
GENERAL PURPOSE
Coach and mentor Financial Center Managers , Personal Bankers, and Financial Assistants, provide sales leadership, ensure compliance to the FCB Way, maximize resources efficiently and grow the market profitably.

Duties: |
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
a. Assume ultimate responsibility for sales management of the market, optimize sales results, provide sales leadership to all personnel, and ensure the fullest execution of the sales and service management systems; personally ensure that all major customers are provided the highest level of quality service, including personally calling on and servicing major customers.
b. Responsible for continuous improvements in sales effectiveness of the retail staff through sales leadership including coaching and counseling, feedback and reinforcement and support of the bank’s sales and credit culture.
c. Responsible for developing, communicating and evaluating specific retail marketing strategies and goals for each of the retail branches/markets within the area.
d. Manage market’s retail balance sheet enhancements to include the following performance areas:
1. Profitability
2. Asset Quality
3. Liquidity
4. Productivity
5. Growth
6. Administrative Reporting
7. Documentation
8. Customer Service Quality

Qualifications: |
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
1. Ability to provide group leadership and to handle multiple high level priorities under demanding time constraints.
2. Ability to exhibit a warm, friendly, approachable personal style and deal effectively with customers, visitors and employees.
3. Demonstrated proficiency of Bank practices, policies and procedures in order to utilize good judgment in making sound decisions.
4. Strong working knowledge of the daily activities, functions and positions within the branch to be able to assist when necessary.
5. Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
6. Ability to be self-motivated person with an outgoing, pleasant, sales-oriented personality.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
1. Four year college degree, preferably in business related field or equivalent banking experience.
2. Five to seven years of banking experience, preferably retail based.
3. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer and software skills.
4. Previous lending experience.
