Description: |
| The Program Coach must demonstrate the Agency’s purpose, philosophy, policies and procedures. The Program Coach works as a team member and oversees the day-to-day activities and needs of the clients in their care. This position provides assistance to clients who are pregnant/ parenting and moving to independent living. |
Duties: |
Receives instruction for daily activities from the program manager, coordinates this with residents’ schedules and helps implement accordingly.
Models for residents and gives them instruction regarding desirable health, personal habits, and independent living skills.
Plans, leads, and participates in recreational activities.
Oversees the structure of the program by enforcing the rules and policies of the program and the agency.
Provides transportation, tutorial assistance, and emotional support to residents.
Maintains any duties necessary to continue upkeep of the facility.
Participates in team meetings and provides feedback to residents and staff about individual clients’ progress and ways to improve programming.
Completes all required record keeping in a timely manner.
Maintains sensitivity to cultural differences with client population.

Qualifications: |
Prefer Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Will accept applicants who are in school and majoring in the human services discipline.
Must be available to work one weekend per month. Hours begin at 6:00 pm on Saturday and end at 6:00 pm on Sunday. |
