Description: |
| The Training and Quality Management Director must demonstrate the Agency’s purpose, philosophy, policies and procedures. Will work as a team member, providing training and quality improvement services. |
Duties: |
Ensures compliance with all documentation, staff qualifications and all other state and federal requirements for the services being delivered.
Monitors protocol for continuous staff training designed to achieve all requirements of the services being delivered.
Serves as the agency's Continuous Quality Improvement Director.
Provides staff support for the quality improvement committee.
Develops and modfies the agency's CQI plan.
Compares consumer outcomes and the agency's performance to outcomes achieved by similar providers.
Oversees staff credentialing.
Develops an annual training plan outlining deficiencies with a plan of action for correction.
Creates a pro-active working relationship with site program managers. Advertises, communicates, and promotes upcoming training sessions.
Targets and tracks those employees who lack proper certification credentials. Provides human resources with documentation of certifications.
Prepares quarterly calendars outlining upcoming training events and distributes to staff. Calendars will include classes in First Aid, CPR, NCI, Medication Administration and other trainining activity.
Coordinates training on-site and may act as an instructor for various classes. Maintains credentials as a NCI instructor. Also initiates programs with off-site individuals, groups/agencies such as Red Cross.
Coordinates the agency's Council on Accreditation (COA) accreditation.
Position requires interaction with others utilizing available resources, including support staff.

Qualifications: |
| Minimum qualifications will include either a BA/BS degree and three years experience or an MA/MS and one year of experience utilizing data to support the development of quality services. |
